GDC and Mount Kenya University research collaboration

Kenya's Geothermal Development Company (GDC) and Mount Kenya University are promoting a collaboration to boost research and development as part of a public private partnership framework.

Scholl-Heuter was chosen to provide consultancy in both financial and strategic aspects of the project. Speaking during the launch of MKU's multi-complex science laboratories in Nakuru, the GDC Managing Director & CEO Dr. Silas Simiyu said the two institutions have constituted a special committee to expedite the collaboration process. The institution's Deputy Principal in charge of Nakuru Campus, Mr. Russell Ouma, signed the Marathon pledge form at MKU's offices in Nakuru.

GDC has also collaborated with Egerton and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUA) in areas of research and development.
